Professional videographer Nick Hope has visited us 3 or 4 times over the last few years and has hundreds or hours of video footage.
Nick has taken a break from diving in order to try and get more of his video edited & published, “I’m sitting on a mountain of good footage that hasn’t seen the light of day yet. For example all my underwater HD footage from my last trip to Two Fish, which may well be my best work. Likewise years of Thailand/Myanmar footage and footage from last year’s trip to Fiji and Tonga.”
He has just about finished his videos that he made while diving with us and has posted them onto the web. Check out:

Last Thursday I was diving at Hin Muang / Hin Daeng in the South Andaman Sea (SW of Phuket, Thailand) when along came a very large Manta Ray. It cruised around for quite a while. On the next dive, a couple more Mantas arrived and glided around for most of the dive. They seem to enjoy swimming through bubbles. One came within a meter of me before passing over my head. Magic!

In September 2008 we held our 3rd IDC on Bunaken, and we had three candidates: Laurance from UK, Laszlo from France and Carol-ann from Australia.
The PADI Instructor exam was held soon after at Kima Bajo, Manado with George Wegmann as the PADI examiner. All three of our candidates passed, maintaining or 100% pass rate!
Congratulations to all three new instructors, and thanks to George for the celebratory beers!
